The Planetarium Lobby

Your trip through the universe begins at the planetarium entrance lobby. When it opens, it will contain a monumental staircase that will be your launch gantry to exhibits and the planetarium.
Hanging above will be solar system planets to scale. The size of these planets is based upon reducing the Sun to the size of the planetarium dome screen — more than 52 feet across.
Solar System Planets - Installation

These scaled solar system planet models, produced by Taylor Studios in Chicago, will all soon be suspended in the planetarium lobby, ready to greet future space explorers. These models will provide people with a sense of just how small we are. While Earth is only five inches in diameter, Saturn and its rings are approximately 10.5 feet across!
Artemis Gateway Space Station Exhibit
Before we can have colonies on the Moon and trips to Mars, we will need the Artemis lunar orbiting space station to stage our explorations. This first-of-its-kind exhibit serves as the staging area for the public as they wait to enter the planetarium.
The Planetarium Dome

The planetarium is ready to install its Fulldome Projection System, Lighting, Sound, and LASERs.
The dome screen is 16 meters — or 52.5 feet — in diameter, making it the largest projection surface in the state of Mississippi.

The theater will have 90 fixed seats, and additional seats can be brought in to accommodate larger groups. A lot of the seating can also be removed, making room for all sorts of incredible experiences. Imagine, having dinner, doing yoga, or even getting married in the coolest environment ever made!
Infinite Zoom Exhibit

A new and exciting exhibit in progress is "Infinite Zoom". It features a 40' wide immersive screen experience with three edge-blended projectors producing a brilliant 10K resolution image. When completed, it will take visitors on a grand tour of the cosmos that travels from Earth to the edge of the known universe.
